Mathematics is all about patterns — and that’s exactly how your child will crack the times tables.Smart Tables Fast-Track teaches your child to spot and use number patterns to master the times tables quickly and confidently.Some patterns are so simple to learn, I call them the “low-hanging fruit” — easy wins your child can pick off right away.Think 2×, 5× and 9× multiplication facts.By starting here, your child will lock in 21 of the 36 essential facts — more than halfway there — leaving just 15 to go.And while we move at a good pace, this isn’t about rushing.Each step is designed for solid mastery — setting your child up for faster progress as their confidence grows.

STEP 1: Learn the 2× triangles.

The Fast-Track app starts by helping your child learn the 2× triangles.They'll discover how to use the easy 2× number pattern to answer these triangles first in order, then reverse, then at random.

Once they've answered the 2× triangles four times they'll move onto step 2.

STEP 2: Learn the 5× triangles.

In this step your child will use the easy 5× number pattern to learn the 5× triangles - first in order, then reverse, then at random.Note that the 5× triangles include the 2×5, 3×5 and 4×5 triangles as shown below.

After correctly answering the 5× triangles, your child will then do a quick MIX review session, where they answer the 2× triangles mixed together with the 5× triangles.

STEP 3: Learn the 9× triangles.

The 9× answers are super easy to remember once children see a simple pattern.In step 3 your child will learn a simple rule to quickly give the answer to any of the 9× triangles.
